In 2004, Matalan, a British clothing and homewares retailer, plans to launch its business online by setting up the websites to bring its products to more consumers. Therefore, the paper is going to propose an online shop establishment project for the Matalan Limited. It will mainly cover four main aspects of the project planning. First of all, the paper will assess the elements of the project, including its benefits for stakeholders, the uncertainties of the project, as well as risks that may arise. After that, the paper will focus on the measurements of deducing the uncertainties and risks that burdened by the stakeholders. The strategies will concentrate in three different aspects, which are the strategies for organisational change, the design of monitoring, and risk management strategies based upon the contract design.
