Introduction
With the development of network, more and more things are put into the internet, such as news, books, stores. Almost every news organization has its web site now. This essay is just concerned three news web sites, which are BBC.COM, CNN.COM and ifeng.com. The former two sites belong to the western and the latter a Chinese news organization. Firstly, it makes a comparison and contrast between the two western web sites from the points of multimedia and digital content respectively. And then it gives two examples separately about BBC.COM and CNN.COM to show what they did using internet. Secondly, the essay describes the strategy of infeng.com in network and publishing and its cooperation with social networks including the China Unicom. Finally, it gives an example about what ifeng.com did in the earthquake in Sichuan, China, 2008.
