Someone says that science and technology give us a beautiful life, which is a much better material living than before. But someone says technology impedes our beautiful future because it is ruining the social and natural environment. I consider that with the industrial skills' breakthrough, technology, such as information technology, and biotechnology, changes the way human live. Now science and technology are continuing to create a better future for us.
    The advantages of scientific and technological developments are obvious, by looking at human history. The first landmark of technology development is the use of fire by ancient human being. The use of fire made it is possible to create metal tools such as bronze casting and iron in primitive society and the early slave society. Then in the 18th century, the Industrial Revolution with the extensive application of the steam engine technology changed the way people live again. Human society came into a epoch-making period. After World War II, the influence of the third science and technology revolution which used electrical appliances, led the post-war economic recovery  significant economic growth, prompted the rapid increase of social people's lives.
     With the development of the information technology in modern days,  human civilization has taken a big step forward. The computer network technology and electronic information technology rapidly developed electronic products. The best sign is mobile phones and computers now enter into every home, and has become a necessity of living. People's lives are changing for the better. People now can speed up communications with phones; automobile help people get to destination much faster; electric cookers and gas can make delicious meals faster and easier; and the Internet is also indispensable in our life. The applications of computers in all kinds of industries are more widely used. If we send an E-mail from the United States, the people in United Kingdom will receive it in only a few seconds, which is much convenient compared with sending letters. Internet can help us to learn and know things whatever we need more quickly. We can chat with our relatives and friends from different places of the world on the Internet, play games, read news, watch movies, and listen to music online. We can find information for homework on-line and even take on-line classes, which means you can get education without going to a school campus. Further more, you can also stay at home and do your shopping and medical care. It can be said that science and technology are more part of our life now. Further more, our culture has been changed also. Now, more young people accept e-commerce and a new fashion lifestyle from different countries. Even online dating has become a trend now. Culture integration is happening. With this advanced science and technology, our lives are faster and much more convenient.
