Topic:
Assessment 1 is intended to test the students understanding of the materials covered between week 1 and week 2.The assessment requires analysing a product (check briefing document) and showing the understanding of how supply chain management is necessary for delivering a sustainable supply for that product.
More information will be provided in the briefing document which will be distributed and discussed in week 1.
Students must not make contact with the organisation or its staff during this work and must not interrupt the operation in any way.

Between 1500 and 1800 words

Before 12/12/2011
Assessment details:
The assessment must be Harvard referenced, typed, Arial 12 font, 1.5 spaced and delivered in a business style report. The structure must contain relevant headings and sections with a focus on providing real insight into the specific question.
NB: Using Wikipedia for referencing is not allowed and will result in the loss of marks. More details are available in the assessment briefing document.
